Cadences of Home: Preaching Among Exiles

In his exciting new book, Walter Brueggemann challenges prevailing ideas of preaching by encouraging ministers to catch up with today's profoundly changed social atmosphere. In doing so, preachers will see the urgent need for a new set of guidelines to deal with today's very different set of issues. Cadences of Home is a visionary book that details Brueggemann's rethinking of the art of preaching. A dynamic change in the way we preach will allow us to help many of today's lost people find their spiritual home, he says. In fact, Brueggemann stresses, there is such a home for all people.
