Acts in Temple Street: The Chronicles of Reverend Samuel Lai and Temple Street

Acts in Temple Street is an autobiography of Uncle Sam (Samuel Lai Chun Moon), the "Temple Street Pastor". It is also a story about Hong Kong from the 1960s to the 1990s. In an era characterised by prevalent drug abuse and pervasive corruption, Sam's journey unfolded as he transitioned from a drug addict and peddler, a gangster, a police officer, and a prisoner, to a rightful son of the Heavenly Father. He is committed to preaching the gospel in Temple Street. Fully surrendered to God, his life has brought about many miracles and wonders of deliverance and life transformation. I recommend this book as an exciting true story, which will stir many to believe and be amazed at the way the Lord redeems every part of our lives, however broken or corrupt, Sam has surely lived what he has preached. —Jackie Pullinger MBE Founder of St. Stephen's Society
